Fastbreak Basketball Academy is founded by Jarryd Hoppo, USA Div 1 College Basketball player from the Southern Utah Thunderbirds! Jarryd has represented the state of South Australia at National Championships four times and is a current NBL1 player for the South Adelaide Panthers.
Fastbreak aims to provide an intensive training solution for players wanting to push themselves to the next level in their basketball skills and IQ. We provide a wholistic approach to player development with a focus on skills all while having fun.
Fastbreak also have teams playing in both the Southern District Junior Basketball League and SA Church Basketball Association. We are always looking for more players. If you are interested in finding out more click HERE >

DOMESTIC TEAMS
Fastbreak competes in the Southern Districts Junior Basketball League and SA Church Basketball Association on a Saturday afternoon in the Domestic competitions of both competitions. Our Academy has teams playing in each age group from Under 10s - Under 21s.

GROUP SKILLS SESSIONS
MINI BREAKERS
Fastbreak is excited to be collaborating with Coach Darryl Totaro to bring his FUNdamentals skills program to our Academy. The sessions will be offered on Monday nights during term time at The Baller Factory, Camden Park.
The FUNdamentals skills program is available to Fastbreak and non Fastbreak members.
Our term 3 sessions will run for 8 weeks are now available to book, if you require more information, please contact us.
FUNdamentals sessions provide the theory, knowledge and skills that all players need to better understand and play the game of basketball in a fun environment.
FUNdamentals PLUS is for players who have already completed a term of FUNdamentals or those looking for a more advanced skills program.

Darryl is a basketball coach with 16 years experience coaching in both SA & NSW and has been a player and referee for over 40 years. He has a strong passion for the game and a desire to pass on his experience and passion to the next generation of young men and women. He believes that basketball is a road to learning about life’s skills through teamwork, dedication, hard work and effort and likes to guide players to strive for their best and to enjoy the journey of basketball at any and all levels of the sport.

Mini breakers is a term by term skill development session for beginners. Suitable for ages 5-10 years old, this one hour session focusses on game rules, basic skill development and building the multiple skills required to be a successful player.
Available to Fastbreak and non Fastbreak members for just $99 for a 9 week term.
We are also able to take Sports Vouchers for these sessions. Contact us if you would like to use a Sports Voucher to book in for these sessions.
These sessions will be held on Thursdays during term time from 4-5pm at the Hub Rec Centre, Aberfoyle Park.

SUNDAY SKILLS
In these sessions a different skill is worked on each week. These group sessions allow the ability to set up game like scenarios and provide greater opportunities for players to develop game like skills, technical and tactical thinking. Sessions run on Sundays at The Baller Factory, U7, 4-8 Deeds Road Camden Park. Book for the term and get 8 sessions for the price of 7 or book for single sessions.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY CLINICS
LATEST CLINICS
Fastbreak run School Holiday Clinics for 3 days in one week of the school holidays.
These clinics are fun and focused on skills.
Unless otherwise advised, you will need to bring a reversible jersey, named basketball, waterbottle, packed lunch and a positive growth mindset.
A full refund will be given if more than 24 hours notice of cancellation is given.

Fastbreak is pleased to offer our popular holiday clinics!
Each school holidays we will be running 3 days of clinics, including a day of 3x3 and a day of 5x5 tournament play with prizes on offer! The 3x3 and 5x5 days will be individual nominations with teams being formed and adjusted during the first hour to make a fair competition.
Join us for any combination of 1, 2 or 3 days. Book multiple days and save!
Days 1 will be skills clinics suitable for U10-U16 age groups
Day 2 will be a 3x3 tournament with prizes suitable for U10-U18 age groups
Day 3 will be a 5x5 tournament with prizes suitable for U10-U18 age groups.
